The exercise:

I see you've all had a grand time in my absence! It was quite nice to come back today to see so many takes on the prompts in the last three days - so thanks for that :)

I've thrown my takes up that I did while I was gone, so let's get back on track with today's starter: I've got nothing to hide.

I'd pretend that I'm embarrassed by what's about to follow... but I'm totally okay with it.

Mine:

*While watching Long Way Down last night

*Ewan McGregor says something charming and hilarious*

*I laugh uncontrollably*

Kat: You have a man crush on Ewan McGregor, don't you?

Me: Yeah.

Kat: Oh well, at least you're honest.

A hat made out of scat? Hmm... I'd say that's a serious fashion faux pas myself. I think your takes on your starters were pretty good overall though!

As for a man crush on Ewan McGregor -- that's not a bad thing, so long as you're not replaying his nude scenes in Shallow Grave over and over again :)

Was it a good weekend?

I've got nothing to hide

"I shall come round and collect your homework," said Sam's teacher, her steel-heeled stilettos snapping on the tiled floor. "I am sure that you all remember that anyone who has not done their homework will not be permitted to go on the fieldtrip tomorrow."
Sam looked down at her desk, a feel of dread creeping up from her stomach. Her homework, and she could see it perfectly, was sat square and central on her desk. At home.
The teacher stalked around the classroom, collecting in the essays, and Sam realised that, all of a sudden, she had nothing to hide.

I'm happy to say I've not seen Shallow Grave. It's not that kind of man crush :P

But Kat, in no uncertain terms, has informed me that he's not to be invited to the wedding. So that's a bit sad...

Anyway! Yes, the weekend was good. Busy but good. That drive really takes it out of me though.

Poor Sam - I've definitely been there before. No amount of explaining will get the teacher to believe you either.

Hmm... this, for some reason, inspired me to do a bit of an embellishment of Friday's rather sinister bit. It's promising to be quite long-ish, so I won't trouble you with it at the moment. But, if you'd like, I could post it once it's done (although, I'm afraid this is one of those instances where I'm overlooking the "no editing" rule, and I have no compunction for doing so. "Threaten" me all you want, "punish" me to your heart's content, and I still won't be sorry. And that is that).
