The exercise:

This week's topic for Two Haiku Tuesday is: mosquitoes.

Yeah, there were a few too many of them around this weekend.

Mine:

To: all mosquitoes,
I'd just like to let you know -
Kat is tasty too.

(Just kidding. Mostly.)

* * *

Pesky buzzing beast -
What is so fascinating
About my damn ears?

(Seriously.)

I guess that's the downside of the hot weather -- the insects. We get a lot few mozzies over here in the UK, for which I'm grateful.

This little insect:
Nature's needle, drawing blood
Without a license

-------

Your high-pitched whine
Tells me that it must be time
To break out the spray

----

I think I like your first haiku better, mostly because I find that insects all seem to find one person in a group tasty and ignore the rest.

Haha, I love your first one. So good!

Although I also quite like the second one.

And yeah, that tasty person is me. They ignore Kat and feast on me - although this weekend it appeared that Kat's dad was a little bit tastier than me. I tried to stick close to him.
