The exercise:

Your four line prose today shall involve: dialogue.

Give me four lines of dialogue and try to really paint a scene with it. And, as always, have fun!

Mine:

"'Ow many driiiinks 'ave I 'ad? The waiteress said nine but I'm not shure I truss 'er."

"Well I've onerly haaad eighth!"

"Fine, you win agin - 'ere the car keysh."

"An interesting creature you are: you possess an unusual amount of curious traits, and yet you're oblivious to their importance to both yourself and everyone else."

"Something tells me you intend to clarify this importance by your own means; why do I get the feeling that process won't be particularly pleasant for me?"

"You're being overly defensive, trust me."

"One thing I've learned is never to trust people who beseech you to trust them."

So this is what my head gives me for this prompt... well, my mind, when slightly sleep-deprived, has the tendency to produce some rather odd pieces.

I should be asleep, I know.

I must admit - I do enjoy your sleep deprived madness quite a bit :)

And now you've got me wondering about these curious traits and their importance.

"They are lean and hungry!"
"It's a gym, Jim, what were you expecting?"
"Not athletic zombies like these. They're coming for us, coming for all of us!"

Greg - hahaha, nice. And terrifying. Athletic zombies sound totally unfair.

Welcome back :)
