The exercise:

A four line poem about: tea.

Good market this morning. Tired now. Night night.

Mine:

His wrinkled hands are steady
As the misty mountain
Where the tea that he now pours
Once reached for the heavens

You must be tired, that's a very short post! I really like the poem, it's a little like the extension of a haiku. The last line keeps puzzling me though, I thought tea grew on bushes rather than trees?

Tea
No matter what your crisis,
Or how dreadful life may be,
Your British friend will solve it all
With a scalding cup of tea.

Greg - well, who says bushes can't reach for the heavens too? They just have smaller arms than trees :P

Love the poem :D

Nothing heals better
Than a steaming cup of tea.
But not even tea,
Can mend a broken heart.
