The exercise:

Write a four line poem that has something to do with: brains.

Very busy market this morning, as there seemed to be a much larger crowd of people out and about as compared to last week. We did quite well with our apples, particularly the Ambrosia, and most of our veggies sold as well.

Looking forward to some quality time with my bed tonight.

Mine:

What are there, like eleventy-billion circuits?
To be honest, I'm not really certain.
But there is one thing I can tell you for sure:
Not a single one of mine are working.

Sounds like you'll be finishing the markets off in good style then! Congratulations on selling all the apples and veggies :)
Heh, most evenings I feel exactly how your poem describes! Which reminds me... work are shipping me out to Denmark today for most of this week, so if I'm not around some days it's because I either can't get an internet connection or am just too busy to get any free time. It's all workshops for which I'm a domain expert (so much jargon, sigh) so I can't get out of them.

Brains
All my co-workers are brainy
(That's what HR have said),
So why do they act so stupid?
Can't they act clever instead?

brains - women have them too
though lately you'd never know,
tv has dumbed them down again
to square one it's back we go

Greg - best of luck in Denmark, and I hope you're able to join us at least a few times while you're there.

Heh, been in offices like that far more times than I care to think about.

Writebite - ugh, yet another reason I'm glad we don't have a TV.

The nice thing about only watching the shows we want to watch online is that we don't bump into all the other junk that fills up the airwaves.

Well, that and the lack of commercials :P
