The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: sharing.

Had two different sets of plans for visitors fall through today. Hopefully we'll manage to have at least one successful gathering tomorrow.

Mine:

They say sharing is caring,
But I have to disagree -
Because if you gave a damn,
You'd not have shared crabs with me.

Oh well, even the best laid plans don't always come to fruition, but I know how frustrating it can be when it seems like everything is going wrong. Good luck for tomorrow!
Heh, your poem is perfect example of when sharing is going just too far!

Sharing
The man next door was always sharing,
As though he thought we cared.
He stopped the day that he found out,
We sold on everything we heard.

The speaker in my poem is a toddler. Probably help it make sense! :)
--------------
Share with me,
I'll share with you.
Wait -- you mean you want
My stuff?! No way!

Greg - hmm, that's one way to get someone to quit oversharing. I might have to try that!

Morganna - while I can see this definitely working coming from a toddler, I've met more than a few adults who'd be likely to say something very similar :P
