The exercise:

Write two haiku about: luggage.

I finally put together three good games at bowling tonight, rolling a 245, a 210, and a 198. Missing that third 200 game by two points drives me a little crazy though.

There's always something, isn't there?

Anyway, it was nice to go into the Christmas break on a high note, as we don't bowl again until January 7th.

Mine:

Step off the airplane,
ready to relax, then they
say my bags stayed home.

*     *     *

I pack carefully,
forgetting nothing. Except
for my underwear.

It definitely looks like you're going to be clearly in the 200 territory soon with scores like that! Does the reducing number reflect increasing tiredness? I remember when I used to play snooker that my first game was always the best, as sooner or later all that standing up starts to affect them.
It's a tough choice between haikus this time, but your second one just edges into pole position for me! Lovely work in both cases.
And... you've picked a 7-letter word to stop me writing acrostics. Fine, well, two BAGs would constitute luggage, wouldn't they? ;-)

Bags fall on the belt,
Accelerating. Airport
Guards protect themselves.

Behold: your luggage!
Arriving safe and sound in
Guadalahara....

Greg - I don't think it's as much increasing tiredness as it is decreasing focus. I tend to start over-thinking things by the final game.

Hah, clever you with the two bag acrostic! Love the image the first one plants in my head, so that's my fav this week :)
