The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: healing.

The gym was very quiet this morning, which meant I was able to get a lot of cleaning done. Of course it got busy just as the birthday party in the alley was starting, because why not?

At least it was a good group of kids (and adults) that were celebrating, and they were very appreciative of my assistance. And they even managed to get the pizza delivered a littler earlier than they'd originally planned so that I didn't have to stay excessively late.

Still had to leave late, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

Mine:

It's getting better
With each passing day;
It'd be much faster,
If I had my way.

Clearly you ran into the problem that when people saw people going into the building they decided it must be a good place to go into. Popularity breeds popularity :)
Well done on getting the part sorted though!
That's a fun little poem, though I find myself wondering what it is that's slowly healing and why the rush... :)

Healing
"Don't pick it," they said, "It's just peeling."
But I picked it anyway to see that's healing.
Only it turned out it wasn't, it was growing instead,
I now have six arms, four legs and no head.

I'll continue to struggle and fight,
always pushing closer to my goal.

But when I'm finally standing upright,
I'll go outside for a little stroll.

Hi again, it's been months. I have been absent due to a major surgery for which I am still in rehab, but I hope to be back to writing soon.

Greg - yeah, popularity really needs to stop breeding :P

Hah, that's a pretty incredible story in just four lines. Love it.

Krystin - hello! So pleased to hear from you again, as I'd been wondering where you've been. I hope that rehab is going well and that we'll be seeing more of you around here very soon.

And may your stroll outdoors be as excellent as can be.
