The exercise:

Bringing our little two day theme session to a fitting conclusion, write a four line poem about: a truth.

Work went reasonably well today. Saw my boss for the first time in a month and a half or so, did a bunch of cleaning, ran the bowling alley for a short while. Nothing too exciting, just an average Saturday at the gym and alley.

Hmm, gym and alley sound like names. I shall file that away for later use.

Mine:

What's the meaning of life
And all that junk?
No matter what happens
Don't lose your spunk.

Alternative endings for this poem: funk, junk, crunk. Choose your favorite and replace as required.

Heh, I don't think I manage to go two days without bumping into my boss and I work in an office of a couple of hundred people. You work on a team of less than 10 and manage to avoid him for a month and a half? I admire your ninja stealth skills!
I'm all curious now as to what you're thinking of doing with Gym and Alley!
Great little poem, a nice way to start the year really :)

Truth
My doctor gave me truth drugs
To find out what was wrong.
I told him that I hate him
Then told him to "stay strong".

Greg - well he runs several different businesses so it's not terribly unusual for him to not be around much. Plus, you know, ninja skills.

Still thinking about Gym and Alley. I'm sure something will result from all that thinking eventually.

Hah, sounds like the doctor got exactly what he deserved :)
