The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: sloth.

Day two of Kat's training, the longest of the bunch, is over and out. She was in class starting at 11:30 this morning and finished at 7pm. Max did fine, other than his afternoon nap which he had absolutely no interest in having.

I ended up sticking him in the car to go for a drive at 3pm (about an hour after he usually goes down) and he fell asleep within a couple of minutes. He only slept for half an hour, but that was a whole lot better than the nothing it was looking like it was going to be.

Tomorrow's 11:30 to 4:30 training session is suddenly looking pretty tame in comparison.

Mine:

The roller coaster's rattlin',
Something has come loose.
I suppose I could fix 'er,
But, meh, what's the use?

It sounds like you're better at this parenting lark than you give yourself credit for! Certainly if you can get a lively baby to settle down for a nap you're doing something right :)
And well done to Kat as well of course; days of that length can't be easy either!
Heh, I like your poem. I think I'd like the second verse even more, if you chose to write it!

Sloth
As any scrabble player will tell you
The Ai is a three-toed sloth
That helps a lot with a rack of vowels
And saves you waxing wrath.

Greg - eh, maybe I am :P

Hah, yes, there's a lot of fun to be had with a second verse isn't there?

A poem about scrabble! You simply cannot, in my book at least, go wrong with that :D
