The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: being online.

It's been a long, long day. Market was good. I'm beyond ready for bed. Good night.

Mine:

Every click, every site,
Every touch of your keyboard;
They see and know it all,
And not a thing is ignored...

  1. It sounds like the Canadian NSA is watching you, from your poem. I should think it's because of the year-long prompts; they probably think you're some kind of very long-range terrorist with plans to destroy the Canadian space-programme with your foreign co-conspirators :)

    Online
Once we were individuals and knew not how to blog,
Now we're faceless masses caught in online fog,
Remember: on the internet no-one knows that you're a dog,
Woof woof, bark bark, woof bark woof.

  2. Never has such a soul sucker,
    An intelligence drainer, a time
    Eater existed than this horrid
    Thing called the web.

  3. Greg - hah. I mean, oh dear. Nah, I mean hah.

Thank you for this poem and the smile it brought to my face.

    Ivy - yeah... pretty much.

On a completely unrelated note, I should get bed...
