The exercise:

Write two haiku about: confections.

Morning with the boys went well. Afternoon was not as productive as I would have liked.

Try again tomorrow.

Mine:

I only got one
box - what's the harm? Come help me
carry it, won't you?

*     *     *

What kind did I get?
Well, if it had chocolate
in it... I got it.

Productivity is one of those things that seems to come and go of its own accord. I don't feel like I was particularly productive yesterday (and certainly don't have enough of a fairly important document to show for it) but when I think carefully about what I did, the attention I gave one of my Product Owners was probably pretty important (certainly to him) and I think helped him out, so maybe the productivity was just well hidden?
I like your first haiku better today because of the subtlety of the last line :). I hope it did take all three of you to carry the box home!

Confections
Sour cherries make
Wildly great Black Forest cake.
Everyone gets some!

Easter? Christmas? Whit?
They're all holidays we eat
Sweets on. Dentists laugh....

Greg - productivity can, indeed, be sometimes hard to spot. I shall pretend that's what happened on this day.

I love Black Forest cake, so your first has to be my favorite. Though your second did make me smile with that last line :)
