I think I may have suggested this before, but maybe you should book the first Monday back after a longer holiday as a holiday also so that you can spend the day enjoying not being at work and knowing that other people are sorting out the worst of the holiday-period leftover? But then this time round I suspect that the prospect of the new job is a contributing factor as well :)

Greg - I think I'm too low on the totem poll for that option. For now, anyway. I'm not entirely certain where on the totem pole I am with the new job.
