The exercise:
Write four lines of prose about something that has been: transfused.
Miles had a blood transfusion last night, so I spent the night at the hospital in Penticton with Kat and him. It seems to have gone well, and we're very much hoping this will be the only one he will have to get done. We're back home at any rate, and his next blood test isn't due until Wednesday.
Oh, just for you Greg: the official diagnosis is Transient Erythroblastopenia of Childhood.
Say that three times fast.

The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: doubts.
Mine:
Like: Where was Buddy now, and when and where were
Its last communications?
If it was so loyal, who else could order
All these eliminations?

The exercise:
Write two haiku about: invisible scars.
Mine:
These scars can't be seen
By the naked eye - they lie
Far beneath my skin
Okay, explanation in comments, hold on a minute.

The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: evasion.
Mine:
The Master denied everything without pause.
The police seemed satisfied,
Until they got to the questions that were not
So easily brushed aside

The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: questions.
Mine:
But he was soon interrupted by a fist
Hammering on his front door.
It was the police with just a few questions...
And then a few questions more.

The exercise:
Write about: havoc.
This would have been a good day for our next revisitation, but I'm refusing to move on until I add to the last one. So... hopefully that will happen before Sunday.

The exercise:
Write about: an iron fist.
In celebration of my finally finishing season 2 of Iron Fist. Which was just so, so much better than season 1. Now on to Daredevil Season 3!

The exercise:
Write two haiku about: goats.
Max went on a field trip to see goats with his class today. He saw one that was born two days ago. He got to feed grass to another young one.
I got to go to work. I saw no goats. Though I did speak with a couple people who may have some goat DNA. In their brains.
(Work's going pretty well, by the way. And yes I know I've fallen behind on comments again. I'll get on it. Not tonight, but I will.)

The exercise:
Write a four line poem about something that is: in flames.
I think I shall consider this the start of Part II for mine.
Mine:
The Master watched the reports of the fire
In Ecuador with a smirk,
For in the mile high flames he could see the mark
Of his loyal robot's work
