The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: horizons.

  1. I don't think our narrator in this poem has much in the way of horizons at the moment -- even his future is rather in doubt....

    Horizons
The clouds descend and fog arises
My horizons narrow to bare across the deck
I hear Leviathan off to the starboard side
And wonder how long before the ship must wreck?

  2. Greg - well, to be fair to your narrator, I think we're all wondering that.
