The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: finding a path.

  1. Ah, paths are tricky things in this world...

    Finding a path
    Two days later and water is all that’s on my mind;
    I’ve sucked the dew off grass stems, it was all that I could find
    And now perhaps there is a path: large footsteps show the way
    I swear I’ll fight off tigers if it means I drink today.

  2. Greg - I kinda figured they might be...

    Hmm, things are getting rather desperate for your narrator. Though, to be fair, I'm not sure things were ever *not* desperate.
