The exercise:

The topic for this week's four line poem - handknit.

Mine:

The wool against my skin
Resonates with the heat
Of the soft loving hands,
Whose touch make me complete.

  1. Knit, purl, knit, purl
    Her well-worn hands
    Deftly create a masterpiece
    Made with love

  2. Heya Marc,
glad to hear that you're recovering well from your long week. And as for the poems I leave here on your blog, they're gifts to you rather than just things to share. Feel free to do with them as you will.

I like your little poem, I can almost feel the warmth you're talking about. I doubt mine will be so... affectionate :(

    Handknit

    Clotho, Atropos, and Lachesis
Have woven this life I lead.
The handknit fabric is rich in threads,
As I am rich in friends.

  3. Bunny - that's a very lovely image you've painted. :)

Greg - I appreciate that. I'm just happy to have people sharing their creativity here.

And I think yours had its own affection to it :)
