The exercise:
A four line poem about: intersections.
Another good market this morning. The driver who hit me two weeks back dropped by our table and didn't remember where she recognized me from at first.
"Where do I know you from?"
"The intersection of..."
That did the trick.
Mine:

Crossing paths

Heh, I wish I could have been there for that revelation of where you'd met before! That sounds quite funny (or perhaps embarrassing, depending on who you are).
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I forgot to apologise for the unusual length of my 'four line' post yesterday, but once I had this idea of the cobbler shouting after Time, I couldn't resist the whole thing. Just four lines today though!
Intersections

I really like your second line.
I took a trip down the graph
ReplyDeleteIn a typical linear path
I reached the ol' origin, who was having some porridge in
A clay bowl signéd by Plath.

Hey, I'm on vacation, I'm not gonna worry 'bout it too much.
g2 - I love your first two lines :)
