The exercise:

Today we write about: the mime.

Calling it an early night tonight, see you all tomorrow.

Mine:

"He still ain't talking, boss."

"He's one tough nut to crack, I'll give him that. But I ain't giving up this easy."

"What you wants us to do? We already sent in the spiders and the snakes."

"Release the hounds."

  1. The mime
    It's a non-custodial sentence,
(The judge typed his verdict up wrong)
Instead of labouring as a miner,
He'll spend six years as a mimer,
Which is nearly six years too long.

my little brother wants me to get him a cookie every time he sighs and he sighs alot! he fakes falling off a roof,
    then he just goes spoof,
then he appears out of nowhere,
    what a show off!

  4. the mimer started his act of pretending to fall off a roof. So he did but out of nowhere a second mimer apeared on the roof and did the act there. But when he did it the mimer tumbled off the roof to his death. So the first mimer went on with his act.

  6. He mimes you,
    Whatever you do,
    He's very creepy,
    Though he seems leapy,
His painted face black and white,
He's not so scary in the light,
    But in the dark,
You would not want to be in the park,
    Not with him,
    Nor with Jim.

  7. Greg - very, very nearly six years too long indeed :)

Papple - love the aura of craziness in your writing :)

Mad Man - that sounds like quite the mime!

Madness - that kind of reminds me of the movie The Prestige - which is not a bad thing at all!

WolfRider - I think it's hard not to find mimes at least a little bit creepy, even under the best of circumstances :)
