The exercise:
Two haiku about: order.
The sun remained behind clouds for most of the day, but it was still quite warm. Kat and I managed to get a bit of yard work done, which was good because things were looking pretty rough after a winter of neglect.
Mine:
I like my order,
declared the warrior king,
with hints of chaos.
* * *
Birth, life, death, slumber,
then back to the beginning.
Seasons turn in time.

How big is your yard then? From the pictures we've seen, I'd say it's too large to clean up in just one day. And before I forget (again) I did rather like the picture of blossom yesterday!
I like your second haiku best today I think, it's more philosophical, which suits my mood this morning.
Order
"Do you want large fries
With that?" she asks. I've only
Ordered large fries though!

Order is strongest
When built on sound foundations
Opposing itself.
Haiku on order eh....
Order
The meeting begins
We're sitting at attention
Orderly children
Inspired by todays day job meeting
It's all in order
Starting with one, ends at four
Sead to a flower
Inspired by the project my kids bring home from school.
Within the order
The hero Silver Surfer
Saves the comic world
Carefully arranged
The five colors of Feng Shui
Restore harmony
Greg - not super big, but we didn't get it all done, either. Just a good start.
Your first haiku made me laugh :D
Cathryn - that sounds like two good sources of inspiration :)
Krystin - lovely second haiku :)
