The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: dolphins.
To celebrate Max's ten month birthday, we brought him along to the market today. With our farm help departed there was actually room for him and Kat in the truck, so they didn't need to make a separate trip.
It was the first time that they had been there with me since... I can't remember when. A search of the blog turns up a May 25th visit, but that was his first time there and I know he came at least one more time after that.
So, likely a market in June was the last time.
And yeah, there were some excited people to see him today.
Mine:
Leaping, laughing, playing,
They seem so gentle and kind;
But if you knew their thoughts,
You'd certainly lose your mind.

I can imagine how excited people were to see him! Did you get many questions asking how much he was to purchase? ;-)
That's quite a nice little poem with a sinister twist at the end :-D
Dolphins
There was a fisherman who went to sea,
To see what he could catch.
He fished a dolphin is his worn-out net,
And found he'd met his match!
Greg - I had to fend off a few potential kidnappers, but no offers to purchase were presented :P
I can't decide which meaning I want to assign to your final line. I think I'll have to go with the one that implies your firsherman found his soul mate in a dolphin, as that's the one that makes me laugh :D
