I think this is actually a good place to bring Margarest and Theresa's adventure to a conclusion, and leave them just carrying on with their (slightly odd) lives :)
Carrying on "Good mourning," said Margaret, sitting down at a table where Theresa, Agnes, Betty and Phyllis were already sat, "and do any of you think that's a strange way to greet people?" Phyllis was playing Betty and winning, and the others were kibitzing, so it took a moment before Agnes said, "It's probably historical, dear; you know, it'll be the way they greeted each other during the Black Death or something, and was just a nice way of asking if anyone died recently." Margaret and Theresa exchanged glances, and Theresa said, "But wouldn't 'Good Erenoon' make more sense?" Phyllis laughed: "my mum did tell me she and her friends all used to call the Ante, short of Antemeridian, so let's say 'Good Ante' instead!"

Greg - hah, fair enough. I'll be sad to see them depart for now, but I look forward to whatever comes our way next Friday!
