The exercise:
I went on a bit of a writing frenzy in the last week, and over the weekend in particular, and it felt damn good. So this week's Two Haiku Tuesday's theme is: writing binge.
Mine:
Hide the thesaurus!
Put away the book of rhymes!
He's gone writing mad!
* * * *
Your ink stained fingers
Tell me that, again, you've been
Hitting the inkwell.

It's always good to see you writing and I appreciate the opportunity to read it. I like your first haiku, which is playful and fun, but I prefer your second one, which I think sums things up perfectly!
Writing binge
Words spill on the page,
It's verbal diarrhoea,
Yet nothing makes sense
-----------------
He's writing fast now,
One hundred words a minute,
The tale tells itself
Spend hours on end,
Letting words spill 'til heart's pleased:
Sounds like perfect bliss.
But the student-folks
don't have as much writing time
As they might prefer.

Especially a present student taking 4 APs... Such is my plight: so much to learn, so little time.
Hmm... seems like mine's more about a writing purge as opposed to a writing binge. Ah well, they're related in the fact that they're opposites, no?
Greg - that's very kind, thank you.
I wish I could write that fast! Hell, I'd settle for typing that fast.
g2 - hey, if my prompt inspires you to write I don't much care about anything else :)
And good luck with school! I hope you still find time to drop by now and then though.
