The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: it's go time.
Work this morning went well. Super busy opening, but I suspect I'll need to get used to that.
As for the prompt? Maybe it is, maybe it's not. I guess you'll see by tomorrow night.
Us? We'll know pretty quick here.
Mine:
On your marks!
We've been there awhile, don't you know?
Get set! Go!
It's about friggin' time, don't you... Right-e-o!

People value their bread :) I expect your openings will always be pretty busy! I'm baking buckwheat bread here as I haven't found a bakers nearby and baking bread isn't nearly as much work as people think. Plus I can do my own sourdough, and that's pretty tasty.
Haha, you can't hurry the poor child. He's comfortable and looked after where he is, I don't think he's going to pay any attention to your poem at all :-P
It's go time
"It's go time," said their mother,
Smiling as she watched her kids scramble.
"It's slow time," said their father,
Relaxed, laid back, moving at an amble.
Greg - all the bread at the bakery is actually sourdough, which I think is pretty cool. Not always the new customers, though, when they find out they need to call at least four days ahead if they want something set aside (otherwise it's too late and the bread for that day has already been started).
But yes, people generally do seem to value their bread :)
Hah, I like this pair. Perhaps because I can relate to the father so well :D
