The exercise:

On Location Week, day six, asks for a four line poem (or not, you know the drill by now) which takes place at: the dinosaur festival.

I don't even know how to write a poem about a dinosaur festival, let alone work it into Red's current tale! So maybe Red and Emma have reached a natural point to take a break -- a mini-cliff-hanger but nothing that would keep people awake at night. And somewhere you might be tempted to join in yourself :)

The dinosaur festival
The organisers wanted realism,
Because they suffered from idealism,
So purely for historical veracity,
The raptors attacked the crowds with voracity.

Greg - hah :)

Not keep anyone awake at night? I think you misjudge my fascination with this tale, sir. And yes, I am tempted to pick things up, but first let me get all caught up on comments to make sure you haven't started it back up again yourself!

And well done with the prompt :)

The dinosaur festival inspiration:

Max and Miles were playing dinosaurs in the living room. That's about it.

So this was indeed the one prompt this week that did not draw inspiration from work.
