Heart-shaped
Theresa and Maureen paused for a moment by the doors of the secondary room of the Scrabble Tournament, where the anagram competitions were taking place. Up on the main board for this round were the words "An Evil Ent" and the contestants were either scribbling on paper or staring intently into space as they mentally rearranged the letters to try and find a single word.
"The question here ought to be if it's possible to find an Ent that isn't evil," said Theresa, "as the bits that Tolkien didn't tell you in the Lord of the Rings about what they did when the Ent-wives tried to carve heart-shapes into their bark reveal."
"Oh, all Ents are evil," said Maureen, "and they're only good for firewood if you ask me."

Within his ruff palm shown an opal of the brightest white. She gazed with amazement as the slightest shift of sunbeam brought out the fieriest of reds and coolest of blues. It was the most beautiful stone she had ever seen. When she noticed it was carved into a heart shape, her own heart swelled within her breast.
