The exercise:
Write two haiku about: waterfalls.
Rained real, real hard three times today. The last was the final straw for the roof at work, as water started leaking from the ceiling about ten feet from my desk late afternoon.
Just glad it wasn't directly overhead.

I thought you'd only recently had work done on the office? Was it all interior design then, or will the roofing contractors be getting a sternly worded letter about their lack of professionalism?
Depending on how hot it gets, you might appreciate a cooling indoor water feature I suppose, but I expect you'd like to plan it better so that the carpet doesn't become a swamp and people don't keep making squelching noises when they go to get coffee....
Waterfalls
Water falls like rocks
From high enough. Stand below
and become... flatter.

Down the waterfall
In a barrel. No big show,
Just angry gangsters.
Greg - it's an old building (they're actually in the process of figuring out a new location... not that it will be a quick one), so it was just an interior job to rearrange things to make more space for some people, while moving some people to another location. So the roof... continues to be an issue. Likely until the place is demolished.
Yes, the lack of squelching would be greatly appreciated.
Hah, like these both equally. That last line in your second is especially delightful :)
