The exercise:

Write four lines of prose about: wolves.

Currently listening to I Am Not a Wolf by Dan Sheehan and it is legitimately one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Cannot recommend it enough. I'm sure reading it would also be enjoyable but Jay Aaseng does such an incredible job with the narration that it takes it to another level.

That seems like a fascinating book, looking at the preview pages on Amazon :) Are you sharing it with the boys as well, or is it a little gory for them still?

Wolves
Lady Agatha was sat in the garden, in a floral-patterned deckchair, with the chihuahuas gathered around her feet like a pack. Somewhere across the lawns there came the howling of wolves and the dogs's ears pricked up, but they showed no other signs of interest.
"Mother, why are there wolves in the grounds?" asked her daughter, who had already had to beg her mother to call the dogs off from guarding the kitchen so that she could get breakfast.
"To give the little doggies a break from guard-duty," said her mother calmly, "although they're not really proactive enough."

Greg - it's like, 90% fine for them but I feel like adults would appreciate the vast majority of the humor more than they would at this point. Especially adults who have worked in an office setting.

In time, though.

Heh, had forgotten about Lady Agatha and her delightful doggies. Thanks? for the reminder.
