The exercise:
Write two haiku about: the lawyer.
We finally have an appointment with our lawyer for this Friday to sign the papers that need signing for the completion of that house buying thing we're doing.
I was charmed by your entry for the Gazette and enjoyed meeting Donna D'Aosta and other Inn-terested parties as well. They feel like a worthy addition to East Wallingford, filled with civic spirit and cheer. And I, too, would like one of those pens ;-) Good luck with the lawyer; I think the only thing more stressful than the paper signing is the money transfer because of all the anti-money laundering requirements that are set around it :)
The lawyer He's not a lawyer, He's a bear of little brain. Don't listen to him.
----- Her advice costs lots She does not guarantee wins -- She keeps on smiling.
Well, it's over and done with now. He was actually quite nice to deal with in person - though, not surprisingly, that was the first time we'd dealt with him directly. Not sure I'm a fan of his assistant.
I'm sure Pooh would make a fine lawyer. As long as the stakes weren't too high.

Greg - hurray! Glad you liked it.
