Ah, I thought the hidden theme was running through more than just the haiku days! I'm glad to see that my ability to spot your hidden themes is only rusty, and not broken :)
Also, have you told Max yet that they all die in the end?
It's been a while since I read the books, but I remember that my favourite was probably the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and maybe the Silver Chair coming after that.

I never read the books myself, so I read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe after he'd read it (three times). I haven't started the next book yet, but he got the whole set from my parents for his birthday.
Max has told me about Reepicheep though! So I appreciate the reference. And also the second one is delightfully disturbing.
