Despite your prompt this is where we end Part I of this poem ;-) As you'll see, that turns out to be no problem at all though. And it keeps me on a roughly three-monthly schedule of parts, which is additional structure that I found helped quite a lot last year when trying this out for the first time.
Taking Action The machines breathe for him. Air hisses through tubes, the only noise in the room He thinks he sounds like Darth Vader, or is it Dr Doom? Somewhere outside Emma B is taking action…
Greg - this strikes me as a wise approach, and one that I certainly did not make use of myself last year :P
Ah, definitely Red abounds in that third line of thinking. I am enjoying this revisit to these characters, and I am impressed that you're managing to do it poetically.
