I still don't have a lot of time, and this being posted a little later than usual hasn't helped I'm afraid. So next week also for the main story continuation :)
Confluence Carrion-eaters flock to the corpses that still have eyes Open to the carnage around them. Soft tissue plucked free, Nerves dangling uselessly, now only Food for the necrophages and the worms. Lord Rufus finds no conscripts here, no Under-murdered soldiers to haul away to camp, Encourage back to life and battle and send out to the front. Needing men this badly, it seems his Campaign must be be over, the confluence of stars and fates Ending in blood and mud.
Greg - that works for me. Sorry about this one. Fell asleep putting Max to bed and woke up in the middle of the night, more or less. Did not make for the best sleep, as I didn't get back to bed for an hour and a half.
Had to laugh at 'under-murdered'. But in general an excellent follow up acrostic to your first!
