Re Red dying (as I've been reading through your comments) I don't think he has plot armour at the moment, you know? He could slip off a ledge, or fall into the river, or get cut by one of those sharp knives, or dragged through these mysterious gates... actually there's an idea. That would force Ben and Jimmy to go to the new El Dorado to try and find him.... I shall think about it :) Re Captain Rascal -- I could only find two very short pieces (four-lines) about him so there's not enough to work with there without doing some serious behind-the-scenes development. So I'm up for suggestions again :)

[Mizzle is a mixture of a light mist and faint drizzle. It might be British-only though I've experienced it in Portugal as well :)]
Greg - well, I'm fine with behind the scenes development! But I will think if I'd like to see anything else get a more thorough exploration from you.
Really like your first. Paints a very vivid picture.
