I can see how the smashing machine would only leave scraps behind, but how does that lead to standing watch? Are you now having to guard the smashing machine because the boys have found it?

Greg - this was me, sitting at the top of the stairs to make sure the stupid rat didn't come up before everyone was safely asleep in their beds behind closed doors.

Ooh, I like both of these. I had already decided I liked the first one best before I read the second, but now that I have I don't think I can choose between them.
