Since draconian comes from Draco and some of his laws seem like the kind of thing that certain political bodies would be quite happy with today, that's where I'm drawing my inspiration.
Draconian "What happened to this Barbie?" asked Julie, trying to ignore the wide-eyed look of innocence her daugher, Trish, was giving her. The doll in question appeared mutilated: the side of her head had been melted and the remaining hair was burnt and stank of hot plastic, a leg was missing entirely and one of her arms ended raggedly at the elbow as though it had been chewed off. "She broke the law," said Trish with the confidence of someone who had been learning about this in school recently. "She was working as a prostitute for the Ken dolls and the law required that she be punished in all the parts that had contributed."
