The exercise:
Write four lines of prose about: a cerebral celebration.
It's late, I'm tired, it just popped into my head and I liked the way it sounded. I would apologize, but I trust you to be capable of dealing with my nonsense at this point.
I also like the way it sounds, but finding inspiration in it is proving difficult. Let's see what we've got after 10 minutes thinking about it :)
A cerebral celebration "Happy brain day!" barked Toto, while the Scarecrow lifted the three wrapped presents he'd been given and shook them gently. "Why are we celebrating the day the Wizard gave me a new brain, again?" asked the Scarecrow setting one present down as it had started to tick. "The Wizard replaces your brain every year on this day," said Toto. "To tell the truth we were hoping you'd remember it this time."
Greg - hah, sorry. But I'm glad I was able to challenge you a little :)
And of course you were up to the challenge. Feels like it has been a while since we visited your Oz, but what better prompt could there be to bring us there?
