The exercise:
Write a four line poem about: a conclusion.
Sorry this is a bit late. Had to compile everything here. Also linked on the left under Yearlong Prompts.
I'll have some thoughts to share on this ridiculous thing later. For now though, here's the final entry.
Mine:
Now Big Buddy roams the streets, untroubled by
Thoughts of what it might deserve,
Instead entirely focused on its search
For a new Master to serve...

Woo-hoo! We made it, and your poem has a page all to itself :) I wasn't sure how we'd get on for the first couple of months, but after that I was pretty certain we'd see it through to the end. I shall package my poem up later today (I'm going to the gym with a friend this morning) and send it over; I assume that the eloosive email address is still valid?
It's nice that Buddy survived, though I think I did want the Master to survive as well. Perhaps with a bit more sanity though, he definitely wasn't all there at the end :) I am looking forward to your thoughts and reflections on all this though!
Conclusion
Madame Sosotris sighs. “It’s done,” she says,
“The robots can no more return, whatev-
-er they may be.” “One down, and thirty-nine
To go,” the Shadow says regretfully.
Greg - we did it! And yeah, I think it took me a little longer than you, but I definitely reached that point as well where I knew I'd see it through.
And yes it, and I did receive it - thank you!
... 'one down, and thirty-nine to go'. That's a hell of an ending, sir. I did not see that coming, at all :)
