The prompts are starting to come together now, though you're posting them in a cryptic order! You were engraving something which you intended to then apply glitter to, and now whatever it was that you engraved is wounded... this sounds like a Christmas mishap!

I am... impressed that you managed to contort the prompt in each of your haiku, in quite different ways. I think I like your first best - that 'at last!' really adds a nice touch to it.
