Daily writing prompts from June 9th, 2008 to December 31st, 2022
The exercise:
Write two haiku about something that gives you: chills.
This would seem to be the opposite of yesterday's prompt, in many ways :) I presume you didn't get hit with the same thundersnow storms as the US?ChillsThey turned the heat off,Snow seeps inside and mounds up,Ice forms, skin turns blue.----Four chilling words then:My mother's visiting usLet's pretend we're dead.
Greg - nah, this was just me starting to feel the full effects of the cold or flu or whatever this miserable thing is. I suppose it's still possible that it is COVID, but home testing has been negative thus far.Haha, two equally chilling takes on the prompt :)

Chills
They turned the heat off,
Snow seeps inside and mounds up,
Ice forms, skin turns blue.

Four chilling words then:
My mother's visiting us
Let's pretend we're dead.
