The exercise:

Write four lines of prose about: the chaos and the calm.

So much going on these days. It snowed today, for example. A lot. Pretty much all melted away already, but still.

Check the frickin' calendar, Mother Nature.

Snow sounds wonderful! I'm hoping to get to Kyiv soonish, but I'll probably be too early for snow there, and with the pandemic restrictions I don't know if I'll get any snow this winter at all :( I would say you should enjoy it, especially since it's not left you with icy patches or difficult roads :)

The chaos and the calm
"It's called the Chaos and the Calm," said Bill, standing in front of the painting with his hands on his hips and his head tilted slightly back to see it from top to bottom. "It was painted by Muernica during the last days of the Spanish Civil War."
"It looks like Jackson Pollock had a petit mal seizure while he was working," said Ben, who was fiddling with the wiring that ran around the room and powered the security systems.
"It has been known to induce epilepsy when it's shown in strong lighting," said Bill, "which I rather suspect is why we've been hired to *ahem* collect it."

Greg - my commute to work sucked, but the drive home was clear. A lot of the highways with higher passes were either shut down or filled with accidents (or both, I suppose).

Ah, Bill and Bill! Haven't heard from these two in a while, so it's nice to have a visit with them. And I suppose I'll find out soon enough if you plan on continuing on with this or if it's just a one off visit.
