The exercise:
Have fun with homonyms.
I got totally carried away with mine, feel free to be more reasonable like my previous attempts were.
Mine:
Did you say this dish is awful?
I say that’s a load of offal!
I’m here to give this food its due,
And tell you what you need to do
To make it so your kid won’t bawl,
Or curl into a little ball.
Use veggies from your garden here,
No more bland store bought crap, you hear?
Not so many tomatoes, dear;
You’re making it look like raw deer.
That is far too much garlic too;
Lets drop it down to one or two.
If each ingredient you weigh
And cook it in its proper way,
Then your child’s woeful, weepy pleas
Will turn into, “I’ll have more please!”
No longer hidden in a cache -
In fact he just might pay you cash!

The exercise:
More fun with homonyms! To be honest, I'm surprised I managed to wait this long before doing this one again.
Mine:
Me, you and the ewe - Ewe protection agency slogan
Hi from up high - Mountaintop greeting
Come see the sea - Mediterranean tourism slogan
Do you know what's due? - A worried student on the way to class
I know she'll say no - A pessimistic suitor
Can we lessen the length of the lesson? - Oft heard in my three hour evening classes in university
The motor whirred louder at his word - voice-activated engine

The exercise:
Have fun with homonyms!
Mine:
I for an eye - should be the motto of the Third World Eye Care Society.
Two is too many to consider - potential motto for China's one child per family policy.
Acts four and eight need the ax - a medieval play director.
The ketchup and relish mustered the condiment troops in support of the mustard's failing health.
Sic us on your sick! - the rallying cry of doctors everywhere.
I could go on like this all night but any knight worthy of his armor knows that discretion is the better part of valor.
