Ah, you need Miss Sweetie Poo (that link is entirely safe for work, children, and vulnerable animals). And if you share that link around your office to sympathisers you can probably find one pretty quickly too :-D
Endless The night is dark, starless, An endless void that the naked man stares into, Trying to find something -- Anything -- To look at. Phosphors glitter, Reminding him of the Bosphorus Under the moon, when salt encrusted his skin. Now the crust is old blood, and too soon, The sun rises and the sky brightens And all the promise of a new day Is torn away By the eagle's claws. Prometheus screams, as he has every day For well over a century as skin splits apart. His heart pumps blood that wells out And his liver is pulled, piece by bloody piece, By a sharp, yellow beak. A beady eye turns this way And that As the liver is devoured. The eagle lifts off on broad wings, Small gore spattering the rocks around the injured, Bleeding, Naked man and flies into the sun where Prometheus cannot watch. Endless punishment For promoting man instead of the gods. Prometheus bleeds and his screams becomes gasps And the day fades to night And the endless void returns.

Endless
The night is dark, starless,
An endless void that the naked man stares into,
Trying to find something --
Anything --
To look at. Phosphors glitter,
Reminding him of the Bosphorus
Under the moon, when salt encrusted his skin.
Now the crust is old blood, and too soon,
The sun rises and the sky brightens
And all the promise of a new day
Is torn away
By the eagle's claws.
Prometheus screams, as he has every day
For well over a century as skin splits apart.
His heart pumps blood that wells out
And his liver is pulled, piece by bloody piece,
By a sharp, yellow beak. A beady eye turns this way
And that
As the liver is devoured.
The eagle lifts off on broad wings,
Small gore spattering the rocks around the injured,
Bleeding,
Naked man and flies into the sun where Prometheus cannot watch.
Endless punishment
For promoting man instead of the gods.
Prometheus bleeds and his screams becomes gasps
And the day fades to night
And the endless void returns.
Greg - oh my frickin' god, that's fantastic. I think I just found Max's new job.
Dang, you've been inspired again. Vivid and epic and beautifully done.
