Well, I would definitely recommend reading Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator then, and see if you think it's 'slightly weird' or not by the time you're even 50 pages in :) Perhaps my view on the weirdness of it is relative to the original though, I hadn't thought about that :)
I am saddened to know that there will no Sir Phillip's strutting around your back garden in the near future though.
Also, though I'm glad you're enjoying Fabian's little tale, I am now wondering if I could do a couple of vignettes set in the chocolate factory....
Trains She trains thrice weekly To carry her bridal train (It drags for two miles)
----- This is train spotting... I wish they didn't go so fast though. Was that one?
Greg - I will have to check it out then, and get back to you with my thoughts.
And you do whatever you wish with the prompts I dump on you. If any feel like they'd best be handled in Charlie's world, you go right ahead and do that.
Hah, the first haiku's take on the prompt took me completely off guard, as I wasn't thinking along those lines at all. So that one wins the day this time, I think.
