Mushrooms Maureen now had two Scrabble games won -- Theresa one, Ellen and Amy none -- and was shuffling the tiles for the fourth game. "I had someone come into the town hall today and ask about ISIS," she said, watching eagle-eyed as the ladies drew their tiles and Ellen, on her right, started considering her first turn. "I had to laugh and tell them we had an Iris but no Egyptian goddesses." Ellen sighed and played LIAR for a miserable 8 points, and Maureen tried hard not to chuckle as she added MUSHROOM across the bottom for considerably more.
