I'm in Kiev again, this time for board meetings that should hopefully go well as we've broken even and are therefore, technically, a successful company. The next task ahead is to keep our head above the water and start exponential growth to get the company to a place where it can absorb shocks. That said, we've had the day of the meeting moved already, so I have to rearrange my flight back and add some days to the hotel stay... but those are minor issues in the grand scheme of things :)

Paid off
Maureen stared thoughtfully at the board. The Q was still out there somewhere, and the best score she could see for it was 28. She passed, and, almost as though she'd predicted it, Penelope set down the Q to form QI for 28. "Challenge," said Maureen pleasantly, pleased that her gambit had paid off and that Team Titanic had forgotten they were using the OWL for the tournament.

Greg - I hope your meetings went well!

Hah, was not expecting this as your take on the prompt. Well played, sir.
