Write four lines of prose about: the angry ocean.

This is an odd coincidence, given that I posted about the prison ship only about an hour before this went up! Well, let's take a look at the ocean near the ship then :)

The angry ocean
Bubbles rose to the surface of the ocean not far from the boat; Kraulik could see them clearly, and that they were bubbling faster and harder as though the ocean were angry, from where he was sat. He leaned forward, wondering; he knew of marine clathrates and the theory that a sudden release of gas from them could sink unwary ships. Nothing could be as unwary as this ship, sitting alone in the actual middle of nowhere. Shadows stirred beneath the surface of the calmer water away from the bubbles, but they did not make the ocean seem any less angry.

Greg - that worked out quite well then! The actual inspiration was a very windy day here that made the lake's surface look more like an ocean.

Continue to be intrigued by this world. I'm not sure the prisoners will be happy to discover the source of those bubbles though...
