The exercise: Write a four line poem about: the list. Or, you know, carry on. Mine: Big Buddy had no concerns or objections When given the list of names. In fact, his only question was simply: In Which order should they be maimed?
Hmm, Buddy is obedient! I wish I had staff like him, now I read about it. But there's also the question of what the Master's motiviation is in all this -- revenge? Punishment? Boredom? I can see this getting interesting!
The list The Shadow has commands that must be fol- lowed, words to say and times to say them. But Madame Sosotris hears a list, a lit- any of woes — her mind is fogg’d with sleep.
And I'm sure his motivation will be revealed at some point. Well, truth be told? I'm not actually sure of anything at this point when it comes to writing 208 line poem 4 lines at a time over the course of a year...
Intriguing start to yours. Oh, while I'm thinking of it: correct pronunciation of Sosotris?
