The exercise:
Write two haiku about: blueberries.
My dad took the boys to a u-pick blueberry farm this morning while Kat and I were working. They managed to bring home more than they ate, so I consider that a momentous success.
So you got blueberries, you got work done, and you didn't have to feed to boys until dinnertime? That does sound like a win! Of course, the next question is what you're making with those blueberries... pie, perhaps?
Blueberries You are colour-blind? These berries aren't blue, but green... I think they're capers.
------ Blueberry muffins, Fresh from the oven, with cream And some hot coffee.
Greg - if only there had been enough to last beyond a day or two of fresh eating, a pie would have been a lovely solution to that question.
Kinda gagged a bit after reading your first one. Mostly because I thought you were going the safe route and saying they were unripe blueberries. But no, capers got me very much by surprise.
At least your second bot my appetite all the way back.
