The exercise: Write four lines of prose about: connecting the dots. We're flying off to Calgary to visit my sister Sue, brother-in-law Jake, and friends until Monday. See you when we get back!
Have fun in Calgary! Sounds like a pleasant weekend is ahead of you :)
Joining the dots "Sweetie, what are doing with that marker?" "Joining the dots, daddy. But they keep moving around." "Oh... huh, those aren't dots, they're ants, fire-ants by the looks of it...."
I was not longer trapped in the cage of lightning. Vitus was sitting in front of me, his normally apathetic face creased with worry. It was then that everything came crashing down around me, everything my mind wouldn’t allow to hurt me as I was fighting my way past the imaginary cage. King Adrien of Renterra was dead, and I was the one who killed him.

Greg - everything about this scene seems terrible. So, uh, well done? :)
Am - those are some tough dots to connect. I wonder what happens next, now that the connections have been made...
