The exercise:

Write a four line poem that has something to do with being: misinformed.

I get the feeling that you were told something before the weekend that has turned out to be less true than it seemed when you were being told. Possibly about your job, or... putting the last three prompts together, maybe the council found high levels of some chemical in the water supply. The first chemist said it was ethanol, so they immediately proposed converting the local swimming facilities into a bottling plant for Osoyoos Breeze, a sweet, blue-coloured cocktail with just a hint of chlorine in the aftertaste. Now it seems they were misinformed....

Misinformed
Dilys was a superstar, she always outperformed,
Until she got a different boss, whence was Dilys scorned.
The new boss carried on like this, ruling with an iron fist,
Until his colleagues told him, that he'd been misinformed.

The paper heart fluttered in the winter breeze,
Edges ripping like the fibers of my own inside
While all his friends sneered behind.
I knew all too soon that their words had been lies

Greg - um... close?

Actually we had a concert at the centre on the Friday night, that was moved inside from the park due to all the smoke and poor air quality outside. After the band finished rehearsing one of the members came by the front desk to 'leave some names at the front door'.

I was confused, primarily because I am not positioned at the front door. And also had nothing to do with the concert. And also it was a free concert.

Which was actually the source of the confusion, because he was not aware that it was a free concert. I don't know if he was misinformed or was making assumptions or what, but it got this prompt out of me :)

Impressed by the story you managed to tell in a four line poem. Also that you used the name of a former coworker of mine at the town!

Am - love the imagery in your first two lines. A powerful scene conveyed in just four lines, well done!
